A Proper French Dinner & Cooking Lesson w/Chefs Joe VanWagner & Ian Frahm Frame & FRAMEbar > A Proper French Dinner & Cooking Lesson w/Chefs Joe VanWagner & Ian Frahm

frame ( @ home Wednesdays ) presents A Proper French Dinner ( and cooking lesson ) by Chefs Joe VanWagner and Ian Frahm of Dimey French

Sear, stretch, steam, and get hands-on at home. At the end of the day, A little assembly can go a long way.

As an ode to keeping Wednesday’s délicieuse, February frame@home … Goes to Paris! Meet: Chef Joseph VanWagner (Chicago’s Purple Pig, Chartreuse, Bacco Ristorante) And Chef Ian Frahm, whose cut his teeth in dozens of kitchens, meeting all manners of amazing people from unique food communities along the way, with one pivotal stop working under David Chang at Momofuku.

Together in the frame kitchen, these two masterminds have tapped into an understanding of the way we want to eat right now … with a modern approach that puts French food center stage.

Think Rillette Toast (grilled rye, confit chicken leg whipped with whole grain mustard and Featherstone Garden petite greens ). Cassoulet ( white, beans, mirepoix and tomato, braised with chicken, duck, and pork ragu). French Onion Soup (brioche and gruyere). And Classic Apple Tatin.

Grab a glass of wine, frame’s sommelier Bryan Lamorena has paired retail bottles for you, pull out your apron and pop on the Zoom, as frame is bringing a live 15 minute Q+A French Cooking Lesson with Chefs Joseph and Ian upon opening your Dinner Kits. Follow along for two weeks of menu’s as together on Zoom, Chef’s walk you through the steps of cooking and building your French dinners properly.  Ask your most burning questions on Cassoulet, the rich, slow-cooked casserole in your kit originating in southern France and learn Chef Joseph’s tricks on the anatomy of a plated dessert.

Chefs in the frame kitchen. You in your kitchen. Bring it on February. This Kit is a Beaut.
