How do I attend a dinner at Frame?

All Frame Experiences & Workshops require a ticket to attend. Tickets must be purchased online through Tock at least 24 hours before the event. All events are announced weeks in advance and frequently sell out. Due to the unique nature of the Frame experience, we cannot accept walk-ins.

What if I can't make it to a dinner I bought tickets for?

All sales are final. Sorry, no refunds, reservation date, or time changes. All food and drink is pre-ordered for you. Think of it as a concert ticket, with a chef who can sing, with a backup dancer/server, and a dishwasher on drums… The show must go on. However, we do allow transfers of existing reservations to another guest. Can’t make it to a dinner you have tickets to? Send a friend in your place.

What kind of food does Frame serve?

No two nights at Frame are the same, so it’s a little hard to say. We’ve hosted everything from chefs cooking their grandmothers’ red sauce Italian recipes, to vegan Chinese New Year, to Romanian seafood. All menus are posted before tickets go on sale.

Please note: Due to the nature of our rotating chef concept, we can rarely accommodate special dietary requests, though some chefs and menus offer more leeway. If you have food allergies or would like to inquire about modifications, please email hello@framehazelpark.com at least one week before the respective event. Our programming is dynamic, so if a menu doesn’t align with your dietary restrictions, it’s very likely another one will. Thanks for understanding!

Do I need to tip at the end of my meal at Frame?

It is greatly encouraged! You may notice an overhead fee on your ticket, which takes care of the competitive base wage for our serving staff, credit card & hosting fees, and other overhead costs, allowing us to host these great chefs. The overhead fee is NOT a service fee and the staff appreciates any tips you may leave at the end of the meal.

What's the dress code?

Frame is a come-as-you-are experience, and each night has a different vibe from the one before. We recommend you come dressed however you feel comfortable, but many guests opt for business casual or above.

I didn't purchase a beverage pairing when I booked the event. Can I add this later?

Yes! When available, the beverage pairing can always be added during dinner.

How long will dinner last?

A dinner at Frame typically lasts 90 minutes, though this can fluctuate slightly depending on the event.

I'm a chef. How can I do a dinner at Frame?

Please send an email with a little bit of background about yourself, your culinary experience or restaurant/pop-up, and some photos of your food to hello@framehazelpark.com to get the conversation started. Please note: We book Frame experiences months in advance and program our spaces with an editorial calendar in mind. Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate every request or inquiry.

FRAMEbar

How is FRAMEbar different from Frame?

Located in the John R-facing space formerly known as Joebar, FRAMEbar takes the rotating chef concept of Frame and extends it into a casual, month-long residency where chefs serve up a focused menu of sharable, elevated bar food. No tickets required and limited walk-ins are available to experience FRAMEbar, though reservations are highly recommended on weekends and during peak hours.

Private Events

Can you host my party/corporate event/wedding/private celebration?

Yes! In addition to our original programming, we also partner with a variety of brands on events of all different shapes and sizes, offering top-notch food and creative in-house production. Frame can seat up to 50 guests dining indoors or 80 guests theater-style, with additional room on the summer patio or in our seasonal yurt village during colder months. FRAMEbar can accommodate an additional 50 guests.

Arriving at Frame

Where do I park?

Limited street parking is available on Hamata Ave. or Chestnut St. We also have two city parking lots: one just off of Chestnut St, west of the alley behind Gold Medal Sports / Mabel Gray, and a second a parking lot across John R, next to the dormant CVS building. The city of Hazel Park has kindly installed a crosswalk to get you to/from safely.

You may also now park at the old funeral home parking lot just north of FRAMEbar across Hamata and take a short walk to our door.
No overnight parking please.
