A South American New Year’s Eve
Chef Michael Barrera
a Latido House Party
The “twenty-twenties” are just about here and as you know, we love a party in our two spaces.
To prepare our farewells to the decade we’re capturing a vibrant vibe for New Year’s Eve…with an immersive North to South America progressive dinner party that will bounce back and forth between frame and Latido with booze, bubbles, DJ’s, dancing…tarot card readings and fortune tellers to give us a glimpse of the year ahead!
The night starts with two seated frame experiences by Chef Michael Barrera with 6 courses taking you on a culinary road trip starting with the north = Mexican beer and sesame battered Baja Fish Tacos and moving South with plates of Ceviche, Arepas (confit pork shoulder with habanero mango sauce) and Bife de Chorizo.
Seatings are 6:30PM until 8:30PM & 9:30PM until 11:30PM.
Post both frame dinners, head back to Latido for a House Party with a countdown to “midnight” as we watch the ball drop with party props, a bubbly toast and a shared first bite of “two thousand (and) twenty”– with Latido’s famed Cubano’s for all.
We’ll dance, drink, eat, immerse, turn to the trusted tarot, kiss and cheers it all in together as we kick-start the countdown to the #first day of the new year.

What are people saying?
“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
