Holiday Pacific Northwest Yurt Dining
Chef Michael Barrera
frame’s Winter Home

Welcoming December with a holiday vibe, ( think mistletoe and really modern music to get you in the spirit ) Chef Michael Barrera brings his genius to the yurts@frame with a bounty to satisfy our palate’s from the Pacific Northwest regions finest.

Think Roasted Chanterelle Mushrooms with Parisian Gnocchi and Hama Hama Oyster Rockefeller and prepare to taste and feel the beautiful juxtaposition of land and sea. Eating well here is an equal pleasure, thanks in large part to that aforementioned terrain which gives forth some seriously swanky ingredients considering the region’s crunchy reputation.

We’re on a mission to be safe, merry and warm ; and to fill our evenings with spectacular food and wine, immersing ourselves in celebrating the holiday season, this year in our very own outdoor heated luxurious personal pods.

Each PNW Yurt comes with its own polaroid camera and box of polaroid film for the evening to seize the full nostalgic holiday experience.
At our winter-home or yours. December: we’ve got all the makings of an unforgettable seasonal dining experience.

What are people saying?

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

What are people saying?

Mark Kurlyandchik, Detroit Free Press

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
