LA’s beloved noodle shop RamenHood popping up at FRAMEbar, 5-nights-a-week…how fab for us!

A more casual frame vibe, with walk-in table and bar seats, no pre-purchased tickets are needed here ( although we do take limited reservations) Chefs Ilan Hall and Rahul Khopka, the very talented NYC/LA chefs have crafted a small 100% vegan shared plates bar menu you’re going to love.

Togarashi Tater Tots, Crispy Rice Cake Avocado Toast, of course The Bell Of The Ball : Sunflower Seed Broth Steaming Bowls of Ramen. Choose Spicy or Regular ( there is also a gluten free option) and prepare to dive in : Bok Choy, King Oyster Mushrooms,   Nori, Chili Threads.
Add on Omni Pork ( think plant based modern Spam that’s really good) and a Not-to-Miss Vegan Egg, so spot-on, the yolk runs perfectly into the broth.

Plus: Mix’tress Jazmin Weaver and her team of alchemists have a stellar cocktail list to pair: right now we’re sipping the Japanese Whiskey Flight and The Dirty Nori Martini. While frame’s wine director Sean Crenny has hand-selected sake, lots of bubbly and vino, perfect for cozy-ing up to your steaming bowls of delicious.

What are people saying?

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

Mark Kurlyandchik, Detroit Free Press

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
