frame presents Dim Sum (Boogie) Nights with  Toronto’s MasterChef Canada, Eric Chong
Late 1970’s Disco and Dim Sum. Count Us In. Eric Chong, winner of season one of MasterChef Canada, brings a playful Dim-Sum doubleheader, straight from the heart of Toronto’s Chinatown to frame for a mid-November weekend. With years of sharpening his skills by apprenticing in the kitchens of Buca in Toronto and traveling extensively through Asia, Eric is chef and partner of Toronto’s R&D, a slightly non-traditional Chinatown dining experience with mentor and partner, Alvin Leung of Hong Kong’s Michelin-starred Bo Innovation. At R&D, poutine comes topped with silken tofu and General Sanders’ Chicken pairs fried bird with Sichuan maple syrup and Hong Kong egg waffles. For this frame weekend, Eric’s experience brings handmade Dim Sum delicately handcrafted and steamed to perfection in our open kitchen.  Paired with wine and cocktails from frame’s marble bar, this is Dim Sum – the Toronto way.
