Modern Cuban Cocktail Workshop with frame's Mixtress Jaz'min Weaver
In the 20th century, when drinking was outlawed in the states, we flocked to Cuba for a fix of the sun, the sand, and most importantly, the booze. The best way to taste the culture of another country is to actually taste; like literally. As such frame’s brilliant mixtress Jaz’min Weaver is flying us first class to the island paradise of Cuba as we embark on an epic evening of Cuban cocktail mixing and snacks. Learn how to properly shake, jig, and strain with Cocktail Kingdom professional tools and plan on perfecting your very own daiquiri, mojito, and the less commonly known Cuban sipper: the Saoco. In her tenure at frame, Jaz’min has taken us all over the world creating programs inspired by a truly countless number of cultures. For CHEM 200, we pay homage to our boozy muse that is Cuba and celebrate some of the most iconic cocktails we’ve come to know and love. Each workstation will be socially distanced and adhere to our response plan that includes every measure of protocol on workplace infection-control practice and health and safety training.
