Bringing New Life to a Forgotten Fad…
(the ’90s called and they want their espresso martini back)
we’re bringing a new frame(maker) to our series:  Ypsilanti’s Hyperion Coffee to help us through two very serious
obsessions at frame:
Strong Coffee and Stiff Cocktails

Together with mixtress Jaz’Min Weaver, this Wednesday night workshop is designed for everyone from the coffee professional to the home enthusiast obsessed with modern coffee culture. Over two hours, we’ll dive into tracing the journey from seed to cup, as Hyperion gives us a better understanding of how coffee is produced in a traditional cupping setting, which allows us to taste the coffee without the influence of the brew method.

By the end of class, the frame(maker) in you will be stirring up fresh drinks that give you
caffeine and an alcohol buzz, all at the same time.

Feel free to think of these two hours as the most eye-opening “how-to” in the frame(makers) series.

Wednesday, October 13th
6:30pm
$75 per person + tax and service fee
Each workshop is limited to 24 guests

Included:
A two-hour hands-on coffee and cocktail workshop led by Ypsilanti’s Hyperion Coffee and Mixtress Jaz’Min Weaver. Drinking and snacking on charcuterie boards from the frame kitchen.

Additional:
Hyperion Coffee and Merch to practice your newfound skills at home!
a-la-carte beer, wine ++ frame cocktails to sip while you learn.

Megan

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

What are people saying?

Mark Kurlyandchik, Detroit Free Press

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
