Five months since his last frame residency, we’re delighted to re-welcome, all-around mover and shaker and one of the biggest names in black chefs changing food in America, Chef Max Hardy bringing Black History Month to frame kicking off in style by pairing up with longtime friend and collaborator Chef Cedric Andrews. Highlights this time around include Corn Pudding with Smoked Tomato Chutney and Crispy Fried Kale, Roasted Snapper with Ginger and Guava Beurre Blanc and Plantation Cake with Walnut and Coconut. A two-part dinner party series celebrating African-American food, art and culture, this February 11th dinner brings 6 courses of remixed classics with Detroit visual artist Gerald Collins creating live speed painting performances during both seatings. A very multi-sensory February celebration…we’re marking our calendars for a ‘not-to-miss’ evening filled with music to inspire, evoke, remember and celebrate important people, contributions and seminal moments in history
