Smoky and Succulent. At frame we simply have a ubiquitous passion for really good BBQ, which is why we’re transforming frame into a summer haven for our most favorite masterpieces by our very own Pitmaster Michael Barrera.

Showcasing his “farm to smoker” philosophy and seducing us with fire,
Michael’s readying us for his July chefy meticulousness in the open air, done frame-style.

Magic-dusted baby back ribs, juicy smoked pulled pork, smoked bacon baked beans, honey-laced cornbread, spicy pickles, and house-made banana pudding with salted caramel.
We know your mouth is watering. Cuz ours is.

Add to this a whisky cocktail pairing of unmatched repertoire by frame’s mixtress Jaz’min Weaver and a collab with our friends at Motor City Gas Whiskey Distillery
as we’re infatuated with their “farm to glass” ethos; growing their own grain for their own whiskey production.

Organic Buckwheat. Heritage-Style Organic Danko Rye from Poland. And Heirloom Corn from England all growing~~ just a stone’s throw away on their Ann Arbor farm.

What is Frame?

Tucked quietly behind joebar, frame is a revolving creative hub, home to a carefully curated programs of chef residencies and all round awesome experiences. 

Chef residencies, Sunday at Nonna’s Dinners, rap battles, art workshops, live acoustic sessions, cocktail pairings,  you name it… explore your interests, hone your skills, master a new art craft. meet new friends, share a meal. drink cocktails.  No two days here are ever the same. Seasonal, locally sourced and above all delicious, we’ve built our reputation on the food and drink we serve at frame.

We also partner up with a variety of brands on events of all different shapes and sizes, offering up top-notch food and drink and creative in-house production. frame can seat up to 50 guests dining or 80 guests, theater-style.
