Temaki 手巻き a Japanese phrase meaning “hand-rolled”… comes to frame thanks to the creative vision of Chef Nick George (Noble Fish alumni and Pop-Up fave at York, Ann Arbor) with a modern hand roll sushi dinner experience.

Pedigree matters in the world of Temaki and Chef Nick is vigilant about his seafood sourcing and prudent in his adornments. For this one-night-only interactive DIY dinner, Nick will hand-select sustainable seafood and locally grown produce to his heart’s desire and present us with personal instruction and everything we need, ala: expertly prepared ingredients, to build our own conical sushi hand rolls.

The glow from frame’s red dim lights and the multiple styles of Japanese Sake (from light and fruity to rich and bold)…wines from around the world to accompany the jam paneer cuisine (off-dry riesling and sake yeast fermented Sauvignon Blanc)…and neatly appointed cocktails using Japanese Whiskey, Yuzu and Shiso are what continue to make Thursday’s one of our favorite night’s at frame.

Please know that our response plan includes every measure of the protocol on workplace infection-control practice and health and safety training for both dine-in and carry-out. Masks are required when entering the patio @ frame, inside @ frame, the tent@ frame, and walking around the building but can be taken off once seated. We are preserving the uniqueness of the frame experience while staying extremely conscious of the role we play in minimizing the spread of coronavirus.
