Chef Shawn Loving has created a name and a groove, completely of his own. One of 68 Master chefs in the US, Shawn has hailed as executive chef for the U.S. Olympic Games in Beijing and Rio de Janeiro, currently reigns as department chair of Schoolcraft College’s Culinary Arts program and most recently named a Certified Master Chef by the American Culinary Federation. The ultimate test of culinary skill, knowledge, and creativity; some say its the equivalent of an exclusive culinary Ph.D. With a reverence for modern techniques, Shawn brings his art of dining to frame with a winter dinner party based on flavors from his coveted restaurant, Loving Spoonful, along with southern hospitality and a personal tribute to winter comfort food. Think classic Hoppin’ John, cherry-scented smoked ribs, crispy fried tomato with provençal compote, bourbon caramel brioche bread pudding and Ma Ma’s sweet potato pie with candied walnuts. Add candlelight, nowhere to be on your calendar, and treat yourself to this wildly beloved Saturday night with our city’s very own, Shawn Loving. We’re in awe.

Saturday, December 7th 5:30pm and 8:30pm seatings $70 per person + tax and service fee Included: An evening with Shawn Loving in frame’s kitchen with southern courses beautifully composed based on his famed Loving Spoonful.  Chef is requesting no dietary changes to this dinner menu. Additional: A wine pairing by frame’s resident wine director and sommelier, Bryan Lamorena ++ a la carte wine, beer and frame cocktails.
