We’re like babes in a candy store, well actually more like ankle-biters in a vegetable garden, as we get a taste of Chef Kate Williams newly branded and relocated, Lady of the House, in Detroit’s vibey Core City.
Named America’s Best New Chef by Food + Wine Magazine in 2018, Kate brings two nights of Frame’s Garden of Eatin’, building upon our city’s meat-free empire. Taking us on a journey to the furthest reach a vegetable has seen in a modern menu that is thoroughly and satisfyingly ” Old-School Kate”.
Putting you, our guests center stage in this buzzy experience that comes to life with creative plant-based elixirs by Frame’s Cocktail Director, Adam Accivatti and a deep curated wine list to pair from Frame’s Wine Director Diego Aliste.
In a nutshell (no pun intended) Kate’s menu takes an expansive, creative approach to what it means to dine meat-free in 2024.
And from one Lady to another, we await on Mother Nature to literally un-earth this March menu.
It’s been a while since our last full on vegetarian experience at Frame.
And if ever a residency was worth the wait, Kate Williams is it.
