We at frame are obsessed with Dan Pucci’s just-released book: American Cider.

And looks like we’re in good company: Alice Waters (activist, author, owner of Chez Panisse in Berkeley, CA) writes, “Not just a thorough guide to the history of apples and cider in this country but also an inspiring survey of the orchardists and cidermakers devoting their lives to sustainable agriculture through apples.”

Coming into town to curate a Summer Cider Dinner Party with our frame team, Dan, a certified cider sommelier, is here One-Night-only. Just For Us. And We’re Literally Smitten.

Running the gamut from sweet to dry and smooth to funky, we’ll gather for an evening of cider sipping and tasting. Plan on duck rillettes with blackberry mostarda, learn why some ciders are hopped like beer…indulge in grilled red cabbage with brown sugar cider gastrique and get a’going in pursuit of your cider education.
