Sunday at Sameer’s
Sameer, Leila and Samy Eid

For four decades now, Sameer and Leila Eid have served the most exquisite Middle Eastern fare in town.
Enter into the family dynasty, their son Samy, who began working with his parents at age 9, went on to earn a political science degree from the University of Michigan and circled back into the family business, bringing Birmingham’s eminent Phoenicia Restaurant to the next level.

Deep, connected, and skillful cooking has always been the Eid families’ attraction.
And hospitality has proven to be their family glue.

Join us, as we dine communally for a leisurely Lebanese mezze style dinner with traditional meats and vegetables served right off of frame’s wood fired grill.  Simply put, an invitation to dinner with Sameer, Leila and Samy —  in a Sunday sort of way.

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
