What happens when Kentucky-based Chef AuCo Lai and Frame’s Mixtress/Bourbon Steward Jaz’min Weaver (both Lee Initiative mentees) join forces to take over Frame for one February weekend?
It’s actually magic.
If you were lucky enough to grab a seat at AuCo’s first residency with us early last year then you’ll know why she’s back so soon. AuCo’s menu here is made up of creative Vietnamese street foods reflecting her heritage, peppered with luxurious global influences. Think: ‘Canh Chua Tom’, shrimp hot and sour soup; ‘Chim Cut Roti’, roasted quail stuffed with sticky rice and peanuts; ‘Suon Heo Ra Gu’, tomato-braised pork ribs; and ‘Banh Chuoi Nuong’, baked banana cake with pandan coconut creme.
All accompanied by Jaz’s wildly cool, boozy, and downright imaginative cocktail menu, including Frame’s very own privately bottled Maker’s Mark bourbon, just for you.
