German Wines 101 with Sommelier, Bryan Lamorena
Think you know German wine? Think again. With the advent of new technology, techniques, and young minds, what you know as German wine is changing. With the addition of warming climates, some more southerly areas are growing fuller red wines as well. In this two-hour evening workshop, frame’s wine master Bryan Lamorena will discuss the sometimes confusing, wine laws and labels of Germany, talk climate and geography, reevaluate riesling, and have ourselves an uber good time. There will be six wines to taste, cheese and sausage to snacking and knowledge abound. Wein trinken — yes, that’s what we’ll be doing.
