Meant to evoke the casualness and contentment of a Sunday dinner at a friends house we bring you our next shared Sunday dining experience: a Spanish Paella Feast. And who better to tell the story of a place and a vision that these two powerful talented women: in the kitchen, Pilar Baron Hidalgo of laferia And pouring the vino, Nuria Garrote vinovico Both native Spaniards ( Pilar born in Seville and Nuria born in Barcelona) they bring multi-generational family recipes and stories to share with us, at frame. What to expect: Paella, the national dish of Spain originating from Valencia attentively prepared in a flat pan over an open frame. And Sparkling Cava, White, Rose and Red by the bottle, glass and shared communally for the table by the porron. The whole Spanish culture is completely charming and delectably delicious. Did we mention the Spanish guitarist and Flamenco dancing? Sundays can be so rejuvenating!
MENU Salmorejo A chilled Tomato based bisque similar to Gazpacho. (v) Escalivada y Anchoa Roasted Eggplant, Onion, and Red Bell Pepper on toasted baguette, topped with imported Spanish Anchovies. (v) if anchovies are omitted) Tortilla Española Spanish Omelette made with potato, onion, egg. (v) Tostá de Calabacín Creamy Zucchini, Shrimp and Jamón on toasted baguette.
