Proudly focusing on Romanian ingredients like salt roasted beets and braised beef goulash,  we’re gathering to taste and learn about Romania’s rich cuisine at shared tables led by Chef Gabriel Botezan.
Born in Romania, a reality TV star on Hell’s Kitchen of Romania, and long-time Chef De Cuisine at Bacco under Luciano Delsignore, we most recently met Gabriel while working under Anthony Lombardo at Detroit’s SheWolf.
It was here that we knew there was a taste for a true Romanian dinner in our open kitchen. Adding endless inspiration to the concept is Gabriel’s wife Gabriela, a pastry chef born in Transylvania, a part of Romania known for its hospitality,  beautiful scenery and the occasional vampire. Let’s round out the month with this powerhouse couple and an evening which promises a glimpse into the true Romanian culinary traditions.
The Menu  5 courses of Romanian food from Chef Gabriel Botezan’s childhood (01) PORK BELLY Chestnut puree, eschabeche vegetables, spicy baby greens
(02) BEET Salt roasted beets,horseradish, whipped ricotta, caraway lavash
 (03) BIRD Half deboned chicken,root vegetables,natural jus
 (04) BEEF (goulash) Braised beef,dumplings,kale,natural reduction,bone marrow
 (05) GOMBOTI Plum stuffed potato dumpling, bread crumbs.

Sunday, March 31st 4:00pm and 7:00 pm seatings $55 per person + tax and service fee
Included: A Personal Romanian dinner created by Chef Gabriel Botezan . Additional: A wine pairing by frame’s resident wine director and sommelier, Bryan Lamorena++ beer and frame cocktails. Winemaker Guilio Parentini of Moris Farms will be featuring wine from his winery in Maremma in Tuscany. Retail bottles will also be available.
