Coming from a family of truffle hunters who scoured the Macedonian forests in search of one of the world’s finest ingredients…Aleksandar Acovski of Old World Truffles and Chef’s Gabriel and Gabriela Botezan bring an earthy, truffle-filled evening to frame. As it’s just about, you guessed it: truffle season, where these fragrant fungi are at their freshest. Long-time Chef de cuisine at Bacco under Luciano Delsignore and Anthony Lombardo at Detroit’s SheWolf. Here, Chef Gabriel brings his own rather brilliant approach to a 5-course tasting menu celebrating the diversity and abundance of Aleksandar’s truffles. What we end up with are gorgeous creations like ‘ Scallops with Truffled Corn Veloute’, ‘Polenta with Winter Black Truffles’ , ‘ Gnocchi with White Truffles ‘ and ‘ Ricotta Truffle Cake.’ Paired with wines by frame’s Sommelier Sean Crenny and rounded out with cocktails by frame’s mixtress Jaz’min Weaver… Here’s your chance to experience the magic for yourselves.
