Next up at frame comes an exclusive test-kitchen preview of the Daxton’s Madam, opening early March under NYC-trained Chef Garrison Price. Leading the kitchen at il Buco Alimentari e Vineria in New York and perfecting his craft as Culinary Director for Jean-Georges Vongerichten, overseeing 17 of his acclaimed restaurants around the globe … Garrison now calls 48009 home, and boy is he busy adding the finishing touches to this next exciting project. Hitting upon a perfect marriage of enlightened American fare with a refreshingly modern approach to California cuisine, we’re wildly excited for you to converge with Chef Price’s Venere black rice with wild shrimp, melted leeks, and egg yolk. His roasted lamb saddle with black maitake and pine smoked tea brings light to some of the tastiest wild ingredients the season has to offer. And the Creamsicle Mille Feuille. There are no words. Birmingham is about to get a really interesting new experience. And we couldn’t be more ecstatic that frame gets to taste it first…
