Summer's Little Italy with Le Cordon Bleu's Chef Mark Camaj

Jun 26th - Jul 19th

Summer’s Little Italy
Le Cordon Bleu’s
Chef Mark Camaj
the patio @ frame
frame @ home

Come next week, we’re transforming frame into a 24 person outdoor supper club now known as the patio @ frame with a summer series of week-long chef residences in a new frame format. We’ve taken every measure to completely adapt our existing frame structure and start from scratch to develop a response plan that preserves the uniqueness of the frame experience while staying extremely conscious of the role we play in minimizing the spread of coronavirus. And for those not ready to venture outdoors, we are also introducing frame @ home;  A new way to experience frame in the comfort of your home.  Choose either version at checkout!

This summer we’re bringing you a series of epic chef menus, with residencies lasting multiple weeks at a time. We’ve halved the number of guests and are opening up each seating a bit earlier for you to join us with a casual drink before dinner. Experiences hand-picked by us, for you, outside in the fresh air to start the summer off … as we meant it to go.

So with all of this….first up? Summer’s Little Italy, and boy do we have a love affair with Chef Mark Camaj, a first-generation Albanian American who studied at Le Cordon Bleu and cut his teeth with NYC chefs from the likes of Andrew Carmellini and Marco Canora. Starting this weekend, Mark brings his Italian love to frame for three weeks, with wildly-lush summer courses as a preview to his Albanian Italian spot, opening next year. Think galamad alla puttanesca, tomato Milanese, caponata, and cannoli.

Grab your pashmina and let’s gather under the stars. Negroni in hand; for one of your most anticipated nights of the week. In our very own alfresco Little Italy with Chef Mark Camaj on the patio @ frame

We have also implemented contactless curbside to-go for frame @ home.
Enjoy cocktail kits to-go and custom wine bottle pairings with tasting notes made for each chef’s menu by our resident sommelier, Bryan Lamorena, and cocktail guru, Jazmine Weaver.

Advanced bookings and small groups mean less food waste, which is a good thing for us but an even better thing for the planet.

Please know that with our ever-continuous changing climate, you can always exchange your tickets for frame @ home, on the day of your scheduled Little Italy experience.

What are people saying?

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

What are people saying?

Mark Kurlyandchik, Detroit Free Press

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
