Hanukkah Dinner Kits
by frame’s
Chef Michael Barrera
and
West Bloomfield’s Dakota Bread Company

As the song goes, put on your Yamulke—here comes Hanukkah.  So much Funukkah.  To celebrate Hanukkah

This year is no different; the holidays are a’coming (this year Hanukkah starts December 10th and runs through the 18th) and we’re getting our Latke Fix by none other than Chef Michael Barrera who is making frame’s potato pancakes by hand in small batches ready to fry up…crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, to serve hot in your very own home kitchen.

Plus the Jewish holiday’s most famed foods: spiced applesauce, brisket, homemade knishes, Challah bread from West Bloomfield’s own Dakota Bread Company, and the not to miss traditional Hanukkah sugar cookies.

Packaged and curated to make sure your dinners look, travel, and taste well…this frame@home box includes the Dreidels and the Chocolate Gelt. But none of the Jewish Guilt.

PS: Your mother called. She’d like you to host Hanukkah this year.

Megan

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

Mark Kurlyandchik, Detroit Free Press

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
