Its been six years since we first swung open the hidden door to Frame’s candle-lit dining room, kicking off an ever-evolving calendar of gastronomic exploration while welcoming hundreds of chefs and culinary creatives from near and far to tend the flames of our radically open kitchen.

Truth is, we’re just getting started. But we wanted to take a moment from our whirlwind calendar — as in two special nights — to celebrate what is now a half-decade-plus of Frame-curated culinary action.

And we couldn’t think of a better way to mark turning 6 than with a colorful Mexican fiesta brimming with shared platters of slow-cooked love and build-your-own tacos from Frame’s beloved Culinary Director Michael Barrera, complemented by a vivacious pairing from Sean Crenny and the Frame beverage team.

We’re talking a communal Mexican dining and drinking adventure built for two, beginning with luscious plates of aguachile overflowing with shrimp, scallop, and octopus. For the main event, Chef is dishing out shared platters piled high with succulent pork carnitas, beef barbacoa, and chicken mole negro, all cooked low and slow in the traditional method and served with an assortment of house-made salsas and all the fixings, plus corn AND flour tortillas (because we don’t judge here.)

Build your own taco, or your own tostada, or just shovel all those delicious crispy meats into your mouth with your bare hands! We won’t judge. Let’s just keep things respectful, OK? We don’t want to kick you out before Chef’s gooey chocolate tres leches cake hits the table…
