Crêpe Bastille Day Workshop with Marie Wallace of The French Cow

In Foods 202: We’re focusing on July’s Bastille Day at Summer School! Celebrating and learning in style with inspiration and love for a culinary masterpiece we all know and love from France. Crepe? Crêpe? Creep? We’re not 100% sure, so we called in an expert teacher to share her luscious beautiful craft with our frame family.
In 2015, French Detroiter Marie Wallace opened her pop-up creperie The French Cow, and has been non-stop spreading joy to our local communities through the most universal love language: food. In our two hours together, Marie will step-by-step take us through crepe making, as she learned as a child in her own home. Learn and practice with sweet and savory recipes, taking home all the techniques you’ll need to impress your own famille. Plus sip some lovely French wines by frame’s sommelier Sean Crenny while you cuisinière. Until then, Au Revoir! Each workstation will be socially distanced and adhere to our response plan that includes every measure of protocol on workplace infection-control practice and health and safety training.Wednesday, July 14th ( Bastille Day) 6:30pm, under the open-air tent @ frame $65 per person + tax and service fee Each workshop is limited to 20 guests Included: A two-hour hands-on crepe making and tasting experience with The French Cow. Rain Date Options: In the chance Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate on the evening of your frame workshop, we will have socially distanced indoor frame seating for this workshop.
