A native New Yorker, Sean Crenny spent most of his career rising through the ranks at Chef Thomas Keller’s NYC restaurants Per Se and TAK Room, curating daily wine pairings and maintaining a 2,000+ selection, Grand Award Wine List.
His discipline began at The Culinary Institute of America, in both New York and California, classically trained in Culinary Arts as a Certified Sommelier. Meaning: Sean has an all-inclusive understanding of how food and wine, when paired properly, truly elevates the rapture that comes from each bite and each sip. Sean also holds a Master’s Degree in Food Business from The Culinary Institute of America.
Deeply invested in Frame’s mission, Sean’s role as food and beverage director is essential to daily operations and flow of service. And trust us, he’s got a bottle list that can rival anyone. But his role grows daily at Frame into the realm of team management, ensuring both the back and front-of-house understand the Frame vision while growing professionally and personally.
To work with Sean, you need to have passion. It’s hard to say what an average day looks like for Sean at Frame, but we secretly think he likes it that way.
