Mark our words: Thursday’s might just be your new favorite summer night.

frame’s Wine Director Sean Crenny and frame’s Chef Michael Barrera – creating a symbiotic experience of bites and sips focused on: Sonoma, one of America’s most iconic wine regions.

West of California’s more well-known region Napa, Sonoma focuses on making delicious wines in the varying terroirs that the 18 sub-appellations have to offer.

Inspiration for this dinner? Refreshingly Simple: Sean began his journey early, as a sommelier studying wine at The Culinary Institute of America in Napa, California. Being just a short drive over the mountains away from Sonoma, Sean continuously has built up strong relationships with local producers and winemakers.

From here, it was kismet to showcase Sean’s favorite CA wines, paired with technically divine plates from Chef Michael, shining light on the tastiest ingredients the summer has to offer.
Think Bellweather Farms Ricotta Ravioli with Preserved Lemon,
Halibut with Celery Root and Black Garlic Chive Oil and Kurobuta Pork Tenderloin
with Crisp Polenta and Fennel Cream.

Playful, gregarious, and simply delicious, placing you – our frame guests – at the heart of the action, pairing well-known Sonoma wines along with small production cult favorites.

24 intimate seats either outside on the patio @ frame or inside, socially distanced.
Taste. Sip. Learn. Our Favorite frame Chefs. Rotating With Their Dream Menus Each Thursday, all summer.

What are people saying?

Megan

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

Mark Kurlyandchik, Detroit Free Press

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
