A Modern Easter with Chef Joseph VanWagner and Bon Bon Bon Chocolates

A Modern Easter Brunch
Chef Joseph VanWagner
Bon Bon Bon Chocolates

What’s not to love about Easter — egg hunts, the promise of spring, new life and nods to the bunny himself. We’ve nix’d the traditional Easter brunch and going a tiny bit against the grain by tapping Chef Joseph VanWagner for our favorite Sunday in April with a menu we’re pretty much obsessed with — cucumber, melon and goat cheese, deviled eggs with caviar, peas and pancetta, honey glazed lamb and ambrosia salad.

Add in cucumber and honeydew gimlets for a little intox-egg-ating and a range of curiously complex mocktails with handmade sodas. Plus a Spring Bon Bon Bon from the forthcoming Artisan Easter Chocolate Collection … and we’ve created an afternoon lunch that the whole family can fully enjoy.

At our frame tables, we encourage grown-ups and children to enjoy the same menu. Although if your tikes palette still needs some more time and TLC, Chef Joseph is preparing a French “Pain Perdu” aka, stuffed French Toast plate for the 12 and under set.

Gather your friends and family… and round your holiday weekend off at frame.
Tables of up to 10 available. Meaning let us do the entertaining this year so you can relax.

What are people saying?

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

Mark Kurlyandchik, Detroit Free Press

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
