Mad Men Cocktail Lessons
Ever since the world of Don Draper and the 1960’s high-pressure world of Madison Avenue advertising culture, who hasn’t wondered why the three-hour Martini Lunch never made a comeback.
In this two-hour frame (academy) workshop, led by mixologist Jordan Waldman, plan to immerse yourself in the world of jiggers, shakers, strainers, and stirrers, as you’ll be taught proper handling of the key bar tools needed to build three iconic stylish period trapping cocktails from the Mad Men Era (the late 1950s to the late 1960s).
Learn to balance spirits, take away some historical booze accuracy, pull up your inner Jon Hamm or Betty Draper and hands-on work your way through proper building and drinking: the Old-Fashioned, the Manhattan, and the obsessive period boozy cocktail, the Tom Collins.
In perfect time to build your summer bar. Upon class completion, each guest has the opportunity to purchase the Cocktail Kingdom Essential Cocktail Set full-service mixology kit to recreate cocktails your Mad Men cocktails at home.

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
