Life Drawing class with Ed Donald from College for Creative Studies
Join us for this second CCS @ frame art class as we learn to draw the human form from a live nude model with feedback from CCS fine arts instructor and illustrator, Ed Donald.
Open to beginning and advanced students alike, this classic Life Drawing class will begin with a few short poses over a cocktail or glass of wine.
After we break for a light appetizer and conversation, we will move on to longer poses with the live model.
Breaking together for a summer dinner will allow a bit of time to relax, and then back to focus on a longer 30 minute sketch with dessert.
This CCS @ frame 3 hour evening includes the workshop led by Ed Donald, his teaching assistant, a live nude model, art supplies, an 11×14 sketchbook which you take home, and thoughtful fare prepared by frame’s chef Rebeca LaMalfa.
This class is limited to 30 students.

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”
