Blind Wine Tasting. A Wine Workshop with Sommelier Sean Crenny

Feb 16th - Feb 23rd

frame (winter academy)
presents
Blind Wine Tasting
with
Sommelier Sean Crenny

Prepare To Sharpen Your Senses. Sean Crenny is taking us into a deep deductive tasting over two-focused hours covering the basics about wine structure, aroma, and flavors that are characteristic of classic wines in this blind wine tasting.

You’ll learn to focus on smell and taste, develop a tasting process, with an order in which you do everything.
Taste 5 classic wines and learn how to decipher acidity, tannin, alcohol, and body.

Leave with loads of new-found skills, a descriptive vocabulary sure to impress at your next dinner party, and be
one step closer to picking up a glass of wine and unearthing the grape varietals without seeing the bottle.

At frame, tasting and knowledge go hand in hand.
So keep in mind, blind tasting is a developed skill.
The more you do it, the better you’ll get.

What are people saying?

Megan

“Tried out frame as part of the ‘grandma’s basement series’ with Chef James (Mabel Gray) and Chef John (Grey Ghost). Our Italian Family Dinner was delicious! Enjoyed every course (which kept coming). Best meatballs I’ve ever had!! Love the idea of home Cookin with a little flare, shared Family style with strangers. A wonderful evening!”

What are people saying?

Mark Kurlyandchik, Detroit Free Press

“The vibe at the Frame dinners also reflected the personalities of the chefs, who were able to interact with guests and offer stories about their food memories while cooking rustic dishes without the same expectations that come with their respective restaurants. The food was predictably great and unpretentious, but the series also highlighted the growing importance of personality and storytelling to the modern dining experience.”
